BHC Welcomes Shaliach Guy Ben David With Beautiful Music and Rain

Guy Ben David, the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire’s new Shaliach, is on his introductory tour of his new ‘territory’. Guy joined BHC for the final Sounds in the Synagogue concert.

Guy started as an IT guy. Most recently, however, he produced musical events in Israel. He’s the guy who made sure the stage was set, the sound was perfect, the (sometimes fussy) musicians were happy, and everything else associated with a successful event was covered. He also plays a mean electric guitar.

He says his production expertise was key to his landing the Shaliach job. He can handle logistics and people.

His first impression of the North Country is that it is beautiful in the haze and rain. “We don’t get this kind of weather in Israel, and I love it,” he said. As Shlichim tend to spend most of their time in the more populated parts of our region, we hope our weather will prove an attraction. Also, the suprisingly diverse musical offerings in the Bethlehem area.
