Isn’t it time we stopped paying lip service to the psalms and made them our own? Most everyone takes comfort in Psalm 23 at a time of loss, but what about the other 149 of them?
During this summer’s weekly Shabbat morning study sessions in-person at BHC at 11 am ET (with a Zoom option as well) Rabbi Kirshbaum will lead an exploration whose destination is the human heart but whose meanderings will surely include plenty of waysides where food for thought is served. Lively conversations will very likely be the order of the day based on the participation of congregants and friends of BHC in previous iterations of our studying together.
No prior experience with Jewish learning, the psalms, or the weekly Torah portion needed; we’ll weave them together as we go.
