2023 ANNUAL MEETING: BHC THRIVING

In 2023, BHC hosted numerous musical, cultural, spiritual programs. And an updated roof on our building.

2023 Annual Meeting Report

On November 5, the Annual Membership meeting was held at BHC and on Zoom, with approximately 35 attendees in total.

Dave Goldstone provided a summary of all the programs held in the past year. Rabbi Donna Kirshbaum shared her vision of what we can look forward to in the coming year.

Michel Adler spoke about the expenditures in the last year to include a new roof, and he expressed thanks for member donations, which help keep our financial position strong. He also presented the budget for next year, which was approved unanimously by the attending members.

Jack Karp announced the results of the biennial Board of Trustee elections. The new BHC is as follows:

Dave Goldstone thanked Nancy Fages for her many years of service on the board. 

As my first duty as new Co-President, I presented the 2023 Membership Appreciation Award to Jacki Katzman for all she has done to support BHC programs, in addition to the enormous job of preparing the Shul News emails that had been previously prepared by Eileen Regen.

Following the meeting, attendees reconvened in the Community Room to eat and talk.

Thank you to everyone who attended our annual meeting and a huge thank you to everyone who volunteers their time to help make BHC “The Little Shul That Could!”
