Plastic People - Barry Zitser On Microplastics and Public Health

BHC member Barry Zitser, MPH, JD, adjunct instructor in public health, public interest attorney and WMJFF bartender was the keynote speaker at “Plastic People,” a film sponsored by The Bethlehem Sustainability Working Group

Zitser, a public health advocate, introduced this environmental documentary specifically targeting the public health dangers of microplastics.

Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation was well-represented in the audience, including Rabbi Kirshbaum, who has been thinking creatively about the congregation’s plastic use. The Bethlehem Sustainability Working Group promotes sustainable, economic, and social practices to bring about a productive harmony between people and nature.
