2020 Sounds in the Sanctuary Concert Series
Richard Kogan, one of Sounds in the Sanctuary beloved musicians, who uses his twin talents as a pianist and psychiatrist, joined us for a live Zoom discussion on Friday, August 7 to talk about his recently recorded program “The Mind and the Music of Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.”
Following opening remarks in a conversation with Martin Kessel, Richard was joined by pianist and composer Elizabeth Borowsky to discuss the Tchaikovsky performance and answer questions. Many of you will remember Elizabeth as the composer of the "Kessel Suite" and her performance with her brother and sister at Sounds in the Sanctuary in 2018.
Here is the video link to the Richard Kogan program on “The Mind and the Music of Piotr IlychTchaikovsky”.
We especially thank our generous sponsors who have made donations for 2020, and we assure you that your contributions will be applied to our concert series 2021. Those who have already purchased season tickets may request a refund or apply the amounts to the coming season..
With sincere thanks for your understanding at this unprecedented time, we look forward to seeing everyone in our sanctuary in 2021.
