The Harris Family Yamaha Piano

Inaugurated in 2013

Stanley Harris, born in 1911 in Lynn, Massachusetts, began working in Littleton, New Hampshire in the early 1960s. After he died, the family donated the instrument to Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation. The congregation welcomed this beautiful instrument in 2013 with a concert of piano duets featuring acclaimed young artists Lulu Chang and Richard Fu.

The Sounds in the Sanctuary Music Series grew from this inaugural concert.
