Anat Grosfeld To become Artistic Director of the Sounds in the Sanctuary Concert Series
The Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation’s Sounds in the Sanctuary Concert Series is pleased to announce the appointment of Anat Grosfeld as our new Artistic Director.
Anat, a native of Israel, grew up in New York City and now lives in Vermont with her husband, Alex and their three children. She is an attorney and a trained violinist who studied violin with Marianna Margovsky and attended the Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College, City University of New York.
Anat currently plays violin with the Highland View Chamber Ensemble, her children’s string group, and this past summer she enjoyed playing in the pit band of the Vermont Children’s Theater production of Boublil and Schonberg’s The Pirate Queen.
Founding director Martin Kessel will continue as an advisor and Ed Clark will continue as Associate Director. Thanks to Anastasia Robinson, who passes the Artistic Director role to Anat, for organizing the 2023 program.
The new team is already working on the 2024 concert series program.
