MEMBER KEN KARCINELL WRITES NEW BOOK, "CHARACTERS"

Ken Karcinell, BHC community member and husband of artist Ellen Fisch, has written a new book, Characters, available on Amazon in print and Kindle.

Kenny's first book, "I'm Gonna Teach," debuted at a BHC book signing party over 20 years ago.

"Characters" is about the different people who influenced Kenny's life. It is a humorous and poignant memoir that is also a look at the era of the 1960s, college life, growing up in NYC and a variety of other topics that may appeal to the BHC members.

Upon reflection, I believe you will agree, that whoever you are, wherever you have been, and wherever you wind up, will in all likelihood, have been determined as an outgrowth of relationships derived from your contact with the multitude of characters you will have encountered on your life’s journey. Those contacts, some by chance, some by design, some as a bi-product of various relationships, that you’ve had, I contend, will ultimately have contributed, as significant influences, in establishing the identity of your own character.

Driving trucks, waiting tables, chauffeuring, teaching children, college lecturing, and novel writing, have in so many ways served as pathways to the development of my character, and formed my relationships with other characters along my life’s journey.
