SOUNDS IN THE SANCTUARY'S TENTH SEASON KICK-OFF DELIGHTS ALL

The first concert of our summer series drew a large, appreciative audience of over 70 dedicated and new listeners. As always, Bernard Rose and Miki-Sophia Cloud turned in exceptional performances, this year featuring Bach, Debussy, Brahms. Miki offered a special solo:  Louisiana Blues Stretch by Taylor-Colderidge Perkinson.

Bernard has performed for us every year since the start of Sounds in the Sanctuary and Miki-Sophia has collaborated with him for five of the 10 years.

The concert was dedicated to the late Stanley Sakowitz, who helped launch the program, and as Mr. Rose noted, always sat in the front row, beaming delight.  The Sakowitz family also sponsored the post-concert reception.
